Richmond First United Methodist Church is seeking a full-time Office and Financial Manager.

This staff position is responsible for:

  • Facilitating communication among visitors, members, staff, and church committees, including publications and reports
  • Maintaining financial database, ensuring allocation of member contributions and church budget
  • Providing accurate financial reports and maintaining records for Trustees, The Growing Place, and Sharing Ministry
  • Overseeing payroll and bill payment
  • Scheduling and coordinating office volunteers
  • Ordering and distributing ministry supplies
  • Nurturing and maintaining personal spiritual life

Skills required:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent accounting skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to use and train others on Microsoft Office and accounting software

Requirements:

  • High-school graduation or equivalent certification
  • 3-5 years accounting experience
  • Preferred: Accounting degree
