Richmond First Named as “Lighthouse Church” for the Kentucky Annual Conference

In the wake of numerous disaffiliations across the Kentucky Annual Conference, the Bishop has named churches scattered throughout the conference as “Lighthouse” congregations. Richmond First United Methodist Church is one of several such churches in the Lexington District. Our District Superintendent comments that we have been selected in part because of our commitment to staying “on mission” throughout the Covid crisis and the current denominational chaos.
