Greetings, church family.
Nothing really new to announce today, but just a few reminders…
We’re back in the building for in person worship starting last Sunday. We have a single morning service at 10:45 in the sanctuary and our evening service at 6:00 in the MMC. All Covid precautions are in place, and we still aren’t able to provide childcare or children’s Sunday School.
The facebook feed goes out live, and the Youtube feed is usually up and current by 2:00pm each Sunday.
It’s not too late to join us for virtual family WNL. This year we are doing a lot of things differently and adapting. So, WNL is no different! Childrens Ministry in partnership with Adult Ministry will be hosting a family WNL zoom video-based gathering on Wednesday’s at 6:30pm for 30mintues to share, read scripture, and to be encouraged to live out the lesson with a weekly activity. We will be studying the book of Ephesians, guided by Phil Vischer, VeggieTales co-creator. Our theme for the fall semester is HOPE! We hope to see you there…see what I did there!!!
Keep an eye out at the end of each month for special a “we miss you treat” from Children’s Ministry. We miss seeing our kids in the building, but your safety is important to us so we understand why that is right now. As a reminder that we are still here for you, we will be leaving special gifts on your door step at the end of each month. While these gifts maybe simple, we hope it serves as a reminder that we miss you, can’t wait to see you again and are always praying for you. Parents, if you have recently moved please update your address by email ASAP and if for some reason by the end of the month your kid(s) hasn’t received a gift please email and let me know as well.
Please make sure you are in our remind group for all updates and information as it relates to children ministry. You can join by texting @uptownfumc to 81010
Hey Church Family,

I just wanted to remind you that youth group as we speak, is on zoom every Wednesday at 6:30 pm until further notice. If you have not received the link to zoom, email Jamelle at . Hit the link every Wednesday and you will be able to join youth group online. Let other parents who may not be receiving these emails know that youth group is happening.
Finally, there are some youth events coming up that the youth worker team must pray about before we move on them. Always keeping you posted. Continually check our youth group Facebook page and Instagram page for information.
