2 Kings 5:1-14 God is all over the place in this story, showing up everywhere except where he is expected. The initial promise of healing comes from a little slave girl. Naaman expects his miracle to happen in the king’s palace, but it does not. He is livid that Elisha seemingly sent him to take a bath instead of performing a magic ritual. The story ends much as it begins, with the saving word coming to Naaman from lowly servants. When, at last, Naaman comes to God on God’s terms, the miracle occurs.
